Terms of Service

1. About the Service

Borgeon is an AI-powered platform for portfolio analysis and research, operated by Borge Capital. The service includes portfolio review (Review), AI analysis (Analysis), and AI assistant (Intelligence). Borgeon is an informational and analysis tool and does not provide investment advice.

2. Subscription and Pricing

• Price: €50 per month (incl. VAT where applicable)
• The subscription includes all three products: Review, Analysis, and Intelligence
• Payment via Stripe. The subscription auto-renews monthly
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the next billing period
• Cancellation is as easy as sign-up — via your account settings or by contacting us

3. Right of Withdrawal

Under the Norwegian Cancellation Act (angrerettloven), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. If you request the service to begin immediately, you consent to waiving the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully delivered. You can exercise your right of withdrawal by contacting us at contact@borgeon.com within 14 days. Any refund will be processed within 14 days.

4. User Obligations

• Provide accurate information during registration
• Keep login credentials confidential
• Do not share account access with others
• Do not use the service for automated scraping or reverse engineering
• Do not redistribute analyses or predictions commercially

5. Intellectual Property

Borgeon retains all intellectual property rights to the platform, AI models, and analysis methods. You retain ownership of your own portfolio data. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to use the service for your own use.

6. Service Modifications

We may update and improve the service over time, including security updates. For material changes that worsen terms or increase the price, you will be notified with reasonable advance notice and have the right to cancel without cost.

7. Limitation of Liability

Borgeon is an informational tool. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated analyses, predictions, or recommendations. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. See our disclaimer for more information.

Our total liability is limited to the subscription fees you have paid in the preceding 12 months. This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

8. Termination and Account Deletion

• You can delete your account at any time via Settings
• We may terminate the agreement for material breach of terms or non-payment
• Upon account deletion, all your personal data is removed according to our privacy policy

9. Semi-Annual Notification

In accordance with the Norwegian Digital Services Act (digitalytelsesloven), we will remind you at least every six months that your subscription is active and of your right to cancel.

10. Disputes

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. In case of disagreement, we encourage you to contact us first. You may also contact the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet, forbrukerradet.no) for mediation. Venue is your local district court.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. For material changes, you will be notified via email or upon login at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
